I love the rough exfoliation because it kind of scratches the itch. :-) I have normal to oily skin and use on my face and person every day. It's not a "fresh" nor medicinal smelling soap. I love this soap. I got a sample through Beauty Army and fell in love. Lightly exfoliating, multi-purpose, smells great (soft and clean), doesn't irritate my skin, and if you don't want to exfoliate, just lather in your hands and rub it on your face. The more you lather, the creamier it gets and it rinses squeaky clean, but not overly dry or tight. This bar is going to last a LONG time.
